APP-01 - Petroleum - New permit
Use the APP-01 form for new petroleum prospecting, exploration, and mining permit applications.
Please reference the petroleum application guide to support the completion of your application form. It identifies the additional information to be provided to make a complete application. Should your application be incomplete, it may be rejected.

Note: Petroleum Exploration Permits are exclusively allocated through the annual Block Offer process. The only method to apply for a Petroleum Exploration Permit is to bid in the Block Offer.
