Annual summary reports are now overdue
Annual summary reports (ASRs) were due on 2 April 2024.
As of 8 April 2024 we have received 715 of the 848 ASRs due. 82% of these were submitted through the online permitting system (OPS). Thank you for filing your reports online and on time.
If you haven’t submitted yours yet, it’s now overdue. File yours now to avoid enforcement action.
Guidance on how to submit your ASR can be found on our website.
- Guidance on annual summary reports for Tier 1 or Tier 2 minerals permits
- Guidance on annual summary reports for petroleum permits
It is a legal requirement for petroleum and minerals permit holders to submit ASRs for every permit that was active in the previous calendar year – even if no activity took place.
If a report is not submitted on time, this will be recorded against the compliance history of the permit. Permit holders who consistently submit their ASRs late, or who fail to submit it, may face enforcement action.
The easiest way to submit ASRs is through the OPS. This is set up to ask you for the information required for your permit type and guides users through the process.
Filing your ASR online also saves us time from having to manually add the information into the system, and provides you with other advantages, like being able to access the information you’ve submitted anywhere at any time.
Permit holders who haven’t used the OPS before will need to register. This is easy to do. Simply fill in the form on the page linked to below.
